ruby-grib-dbg software package provides Ruby interface to the ECMWF GRIB API (debug symbol), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-grib-dbg
ruby-grib-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-grib-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-grib-dbg *
You will get with ruby-grib-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
